We just had a thunderstorm, but not on the level of the one in Dortmund. Lost the satellite signal for ITV, but the French TF1 is much stronger, so I could watch water pouring through the stadium roof.

 

Maybe not their fault as it’s the UEFA rules but again Atwell involved in some very controversial decisions.

 

I nearly switched off after the offside by a toenail decision - then did after the penalty one. The rule changes - and VAR - are just ruining the game & sucking the enjoyment out of it.

 

Imagine if goal line technology and VAR had been in force during the Ghost Goal debacle

 

I've only seen it a distance, but the penalty looked harsh. To say the least.

 

Another one of those silly handball decisions that seem to get given a lot .

But I suspect Atwell would still have allowed the ghost goal - twat that he is.

It is technically correct I suppose, but the issues that VAR throw up need looking at.
