It was an article which didn’t put all the blame on the Tories. If it had been an article in the Guardian which was totally critical of the Tories there would not have been a peep.

agree - it wasn't political at all - it just didn't suit a certain narrative - if the facts don't fit, supress

    Why not, you do constantly.

Show me a thread where an article from the Guardian was deleted.

That’s up to him. If he can’t then point proven,<laugh>

I have never seen an article from the Guardian disappear. Seems an article pointing out that Labour wanted more restrictions and for longer is verboten as it doesn’t blame the Tories for everything.

The article I deleted this morning could have been from the Guardian for all I know, I don't research the publisher before deleting something.

One of the most maddening things about those times was how political it became. For some reason I never expected a worldwide emergency to be like that, perhaps naively

Not just these times 'Spanish Flu' (even the name was politicised) and probably killed more people, was politicised, and ' some' of the mistakes made had parallels with Covid...

It was certainly divisive but I didn't think it was a clear political divide: very little dissent in the legislatures generally, no?

The fact that PLT was complaining about it being from a right wing paper might have been a clue for the more astute.
