I’m not a massive music fan to be honest. Love the indie stuff Radio X is my go to! Love watching Glastonbury but got no desire to go! We do York every year but the jumps are my preference can’t get a vested interest in the flat and this year haven’t had any interest at all
Massive jumps fan myself, hence the username. Aye, I couldn't hack festivals anymore. Me and a few mates try to get away once a year to see a band. It's class man, you should try it. Even if it gets you away on the piss for the weekend
I’ve been to t in the park twice and Leeds and caught a few gigs here and there. Here’s my top 10 10)Hives - so damn fun to watch and a right laugh 9) Franz Ferdinand, take me out is a top, top tune and they are great performers. 8)basement jaxx, stumbled in the dance tent and didn’t know these from Adam, loved them 7) chemical brothers, so so good ! 6) Pantera - one of the first bands i ever saw, at city hall and they blew the electrics and we all got refunds. Brilliant 5) Oasis 4) Metallica - fu£king awesome 3) foo fighters - seen them loads and Dave Grohl knows how to put on a show 2) Coldplay - stadium of light, hoyed it down but every man jack of us had a brilliant time 1) Radiohead - one of my all time favourite bands and seeing em at Manchester in the early 00’s was such a privilege
Got a massive tip on Paddy when he won at Cheltenham 2009 maybe lads had been talking to the owners and fed it back needless to say it made the week, month, year! Don’t mind watching or listening but never really been a one for going to see a single band
Loved Paddy Think it was my first year at Cheltenham, only missed 2 festivals since then, and 1 was covid. Used to go with me dad and granda . The drumavil lads went acca that day You should try it mate. Manchester 02 victoria is a class place to start. You don't even have to like the music that much. You just get sucked in
Saw green day at T In the park, they got crowd up and each person replaced a member of the band one at a time until the whole band was replaced. Brilliant
Awww man, rest in peace to ya grandad mate, I’m sure he could add to the chat here about his favourites
Cheers mate, means alot. Aye he definitely could have Bought him a keyring out of a clockstand seat for his birthday the other week and he cried his eyes out. Loved the lads
If they're heavy, heavy it's not my scene like. Love all music but heavy is too far for me. Me brother and one of me close mates love heavy metal, but I just can't get into it
Aye it’s proper heavy. not quite at just screaming down the mic mind but getting there. ya right about live music though, even a bit of cheesy pop live can be great.
Sprinter Sacre was the one for me! Was at Cheltenham the day he ‘came back’ and won the Champion Chase incredible day that paid for the next three festivals that one! Aye Paddy paid for the lads week some touch that one! Like I say music ain’t of massive interest love listening nut don’t have a specific artist as a go to these days
