Understandably, things are still very raw in our minds, those of you that are making the trip to Forest, sing your hearts out for our favourite number 11.

Morning All btw, if anyone has a clip or a song of the day, go ahead.

Morning Elland. Song of the day would have to be either MOT or Cwm Rhondda for fairly obvious reasons. That said, One Gary Speed..... would also suffice for the same reason. Will be poignent & eerie listening to all our travelling fans in unison signing One Gary Speed for a full 11 minutes. Will also be interesting to hear whether or not Forest Fans deliberately stay silent to give us our/Gary's moment or join in as a mark of respect.

Let's hope its a good game, & with no amount of irony, our current No. 11 scores the winning goal.

Being fired up is the least of their worries, being overly fired up & not in full control may be more of a problem.

Not sure I entirely agree with you YNBK, but I get the point you're making. Maybe to help balance the side slightly better, Pugh should start on the left with Howson & Clayton as the other two of a 3 man midfield. This would then leave snoddy, Becchio, & McCormack to play in a 3 man attack. Thoughts?

If Speed ened his career with us I would agree, but he didnt. I am sure we will come up for with something fitting for him though <ok>

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe at the end of the season, as there'd probably be too much bureaucracy doing it mid season. Not sure how Sam feels given that he's the current owner of the No. 11 or Eddie Gray, probably our best No. 11 ever.

Our players must show what it means to be a Leeds United Player, our midfield in particular, Howson needs to show what it is to be a fan of Leeds United and play to his potential. The show by all of LUFC fans over the last few days should tell him there is no other club that pull together on and off the field despite any differences..Jonny Howson..sign your contract and prove yourself, just look at Gary Speed!!
Play for Leeds, Play for Grayson and show the fight and drive in a show of respect to us fans of Leeds United & Gary Speed!

Boggers.

Sam was rubbish v Burnley albeit he set up a goal but was still poor, doesnt get past defenders and doesnt gel well with aidy white!

Barnsley he was awful and leaves gaps!

Pugh is solid knows the defending side of the position and offers the ball to aidy white to get forward!

Its Danny Pugh all day long with Lloyd sam as a impact player at the end of the day Sam is a right winger n was good v Peterborough instead of snoddy.

I'd have to agree with you, but I do rate Sam. He's lively & can make things happen, unfortunately he doesnt protect young Aidy enough or is solid enough to cover him with his wrong foot which takes Aidys best quality’s out of the game. So Pugh in for me and Sam to come on & have a run against some tired legs <ok>

My good work doesn't stop there Bucks...

Heard on one of the rumour sites that we will be signing Stephen Kelly from Fulham, (an attacking rb / wing back, likes to get forward) and also bring in Terry Gornel from Sherwsbury (very highly rated). Thoughts anyone ???

Stephen Kelly was mentioned before but that can't happen til January now!

Our first team is capable of autos no doubt about it but they are just not playing good football!

I've said for a while we should be looking at the lower league talent as we wont splash out on a proven prem/championship player. Look at the way most squads handle the step up from league one to the championship. Ok its a risk but we could end up with someone young with the abilty to improve rather than someone on a down hill trend <ok>

I thought Sam was left footed, the cross he provided for Snods first goal v Burnley, looked like was from his left peg

Bucks/YNBK, not in a mood to argue today although the point about Pugh & White being a better fit than White & Sam is a fair one.

Think he is comfortable with both feet as Charlton played him on both wings, but I think his right is better because he usually tries to cut back to whip it in when playing on the left ala snod.
