Good start with Giles, that's two competent, young left backs and cover from Coyle for £4M. Shame about Tufan, but if he is a big earner, only 2 years on his contract and wants to play in Turkey, to get a couple mil isn't such bad thing - we'll miss Greaves, but we have two good Championship CBs and if you bring someone like Liam Cooper back then that position doesn't seem so back - Jaden is great, but looked awful when he was bang out of form for the last couple of months of the season, again if you get £15m for him and look to improve the spine of the team then why not - let's give the management a chance, we've made great progress since they have been here and they will have learnt a lot UTT
Maybe because he's 33 at the start of the coming season and missed over half Leeds games last season due to injury.
We can do better, he's not played massively over last couple of seasons, sub 20 games ( I think each season ) and he's on north of 20k a week
Mixed feelings about Celar news, I prefer a striker who can score, I don't like this new great presser/ball distributor approach. Same for GK, I prefer them to save the ball, don't care about their extraordinary foot skills, at least at this level. May be I am a bit too old school.
Wow, I didn't realise he was that old! Well, I feel we'd benefit from a CB who's done the rounds, as well as we did defensively last year, I think an experience head would have helped see games out
Of course it’s important but teams are becoming so organised at the back that strikers are needing to add more to their games to be effective consistently
