The GOP are working hand-in-hand with Putin, loopy Christians in the US are pushing their beliefs on gullible Europeans, European far right parties are funded by US and Putin, pro-Brexit lot the same, Tufton Street and Tories same, Reform now, etc... The main aim seems to be creating division and doubt in the minds of Western civilians. Covid, politics, gender stuff and the environment are just some of the obvious ones. Opinions are made by a mix of bots pushing an agenda (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, etc...), buying out politicians and 'celebrities' to push certain messages, buying newspapers to push an agenda, emphasising certain events to ensure people are confused about the actual impact of them (small boats, transgender people, etc...), weaponising migration, sponsoring wars...(meant to be working so going to stop now). Hypernormalisation by Adam Curtis touches upon this, but they've taken it much much further now. Doubt things will improve until we have either another world war or some massive civil wars... I just want to retire in a village in France and escape it all
