You are right in the sense that at the end of the day, strikers are judged by goals scored. I wasn't totally disagreeing with you either, I too had clocked his recent dry spell...I was predicting him every week on Spurfs thread! So I'm glad to say 4 in 2 has eased that concern...for now.

Think that's an unfair assessment of the article anyway, 'MF' says that King and Kaboul were asleep for the West Brom goal (which they were), but doesn't criticise our overall first half performance. You say "Ade made hard work of the penalty etc", what does this 'etc' refer to? I can't see any other criticisms of Adebayor in the article.
Yeah well clearly he isn't, so in future please provide links/sources if you're going to quote authorities like 'MF', who clearly isn't known to many of us. I'm still not happy about your language towards me, but I'll refrain from sticking you on ignore. That can work both ways GHoddle. If you look at the other posts then you will see that the others don't totally disagree with me. Anyway I had provided the post which provided the link and it was just a little impatience on my part that you hadn't seen it. A poster can have an opinion about a player and there's no need for you or anybody to get upset if that opinion does not agree with your own. If he goes 6 matches again without scoring then I'll express the same concern again. Now how was I to know that nobody had heard of MF? I get him by Email every day because I'm linked into "Spurs news and Rumours." I don't care if you won't debate with me again. Wandering Yid,the etc is just a nothing because I was posting the article from memory. It was Harry who said that he wasn't happy with the first half performance is what I meant to post. Oh well,I've stuck him on ignore as well. I don't see why anybody should come on site and tread on eggshells because another poster is doubly sensitive. If we have doubts about things surely we can post them and also if we have observations that others may have missed. Others have brought things to threads that I've missed so it works both ways. Anyway there's Chelsea v Liverpool tonight and some good stuff coming tomorrow so I'm going to enjoy.
