Morning all, a mixture of blue sky and white cloud at present with a light breeze to keep things moving.

I see from my morning scan of the news that part of the M1 is not moving. M1 shut after 'Marmite' lorry crash in South Yorkshire.

They say you either like or loath the stuff. Suspect that some drivers don't like it much today. :(

I feel partly responsible for the fate of that Marmite lorry.

I woke up this morning, eager to make my lunch for the day, only to find the cupboards bare. I managed to find 2 slices of bread, verging on stale, but a good 2 days away from mould. No sandwich filler available, so toast was on the cards.

Toast toppings were limited. Butter, honey and Marmite dregs. I couldn't just take some bread and a tub of butter for lunch. Honey is too sweet to have as a main course as an afternoon meal. I hate, HATE Marmite. I picked up the Marmite jar three times to inspect, wondering whether this would encourage me to - as they say on X Factor - give it another chance. Needless to say, I will be having a sweet lunch of honey on toast.

Now, I am a great beliver of fate. Things happen for a reason. If I had chose Marmite, the outlook would have looked better for the cult yeast based spread. Unfortunately, I didn't, and this negativity and pessimism obviously wore of on the poor Marmite carrier.

Morning all. Its grey and wet here. Not a good sign for events to come. This will be a long day today lectures 10-4 and then the hour and a half drive to the Vic for the match and then driving home too. Should stop by about 11 lol. Oh well must not complain.

I'll have the accompanying piano music ready for your dash around the stand at half time looking for Norway and W_Y. Might be even funnier with the Benny Hill theme instead??? <laugh>

I would suggest that I join in on the trumpet, but I haven't played properly since I was 16 - can just about manage a scale now. Maybe I could use it in the spring to scare the seagulls off my roof. :)

Strong rumour on the internet that the company that owns Pompey have gone belly up and appointed an administrator - looks like Pompey may have to follow suit. Will this mean a 10 point deduction in the same way as dirty Leeds and The Scummers had? I suppose they could find another East European shiny suited spiv to pass the "Fit & Proper Persons Test" and take them over.
