Even a bottle of red didn't make that an enjoyable 2 hours . Think i need to start doing gear again if i'm to watch much mote of England . Saw most of the Dutch Austrian game and it was a world away from that turgid ****e .
Both Denmark and Slovenia got six yellows so I guess it’s Denmark on ranking as they’re showing as second now.
I think Mainoo will start next match but that may be the only change. If it's a nice team (like Slovakia/Ukraine/etc) then it would be grand to see him try a couple of the other changes (rest Saka, Kane and/or Foden). Some of our players just look tired. I would add that our defence - which was the big concern going into the tournament - has looked pretty good.
Tbf it was better than against Denmark. But that's not really saying much. One positive is that it's clear who needs to start next game bcos those subs showed far more than the players he's gone with before.
