I’m saying nothing until after I watch it again after the England match. Usually I know when I’ve backed the wrong horse and I’m well aware of pocket talk. Watching it live, I think the jockey gave it a terrible ride, as soon as he pulled it out, it looked all over the best horse.
Sucky got stomach churning hatred for you and Diego hates you but at least he doesn’t want you dead, top geeza @FosseFilberto
I got this through before from the syndicate I’m with about one of their other horses. I’ve checked its form and it won on slow ground at Newcastle albeit that was on the tapeta and not turf. The amount of rain has stopped me having a proper go at it because they were clearly confident when the conditions were in its favour at the start of the day.
Our horse has started her canter work this week ahead of the Turf season coming up. She’s grown well over the last year and is starting to shine on the gallops. I’ll give you guys the heads up if we believe she’s in a race where she’ll have to much for her opponents.
Cheltenham festival looks poor for punters this year. A lot of short price favourites in so many races and there’s not much depth to the fields so can’t see a lot of shocks. The bumper looks wide open. Bambino Fever now favourite after pulling away and winning in style on Sunday. Not sure she beat much though but will be a threat with the allowance. Two I like are Harry Derhams MOSSY FEN ROAD which is currently about 20/1. Won a PTP in Ireland and a bumper at Wetherby but again the quality he beat is open to debate. The one I’m probably going to back is KALYPSO CHANCE for Gordon Elliott. Has been put away since December but won every race impressively and the last one was backed up by the clock and looks to be bang on for this. I’ll do a cheeky forecast on the day and might have a few quid on Kalypso Chance at 7/1 on the ante.
It's been like that a few years now, Thursday seems the only day you get some long shots coming in, problem is, finding them, it has served me well the last 2 yrs tbh, some nice ew's coming in.
I don’t remember how I done last year, it was only a few weeks before my old man shuffled off. I remember me and him both watching it and betting on it like. It needs to go back to three days and then the fields would be a lot more competitive but unfortunately I think there’s more chance of them adding an extra day. I’d remove the mares hurdle for a start because horses like Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead should be forced into the champions hurdle instead of taking the easy route and cleaning up every year in the mares with no competition. Are you going this year, mate? It’s only a couple weeks before Jamaica for me so I’ll not be doing any days.
Yes mate, on the Wednesday, may be my last year though. It's not what it was. Been saying that for 3 yrs now though
