I voted in every election for Labour When I saw the lengths people went to, Labour people, to stop a Labour government under Corbyn, I decided to hitch my wagon to those with integrity instead of voting Labour because they had the name Labour. Therefore July 4th will be just like any other day for me.
Gareth Southgate & his merry bunch of losers have well & truly killed any excitement for the soccerball trophy. The Stand with Ukraine kneel for Ukraine rainbow boys are a National embarrassment. The sooner they get knocked out & we can blame it on whiteness the better
I'm all for standing with Ukraine. Ban Russia etc. But it doesn't ring true when we have ZERO sporting sanctions on a country carrying out a genocide.
I'm not a unionist flag shagger. Independence was a massive risk imo at that time. Brexit has shown the fallacy of that belief. No **** sank into the sea. I'd vote, but there is no one worthy of it in my constituency which is annoying because we had a lot of independents and small parties the last time when I voted Labour
I sympathise with that stance, it's very much my late father's viewpoint. But all I know is that, as I face the 11th GE I've been able to vote in, if you don't vote Labour you'll just get Tories. They know it - my sister slags the Tories off something wicked, but apart from voting UKIP in 97 ( which she always regretted) she votes Tory however bad they are as, in her words "Labour let the nig-nogs in". I'll vote tactically to get the Tories out. However long I have left in this life I have learned this from Tories and their supporters - it's not what you vote for that counts, it's what you vote against that matters. Over half a century of negative politics is coming back to bite the Tories in their arse - I intend to take a bite myself, and if that means using Keir Starmer as a serving plate, so be it.
The second most corrupt country in Europe Ukraine, look like joining the EU Tell me the EU elections haven't caused a meltdown now.
Thats what the right-wing/ Tufton St media want us to think. I know this - at least half of those Tories denying they'll vote Tory or even vote at all will end up voting Tory - they always do if my sister is any measure. At least half the under 40s who say they'll vote Labour or Liberal either wont get off their arses to vote or will turn up and vote Green or Reform or something as a protest as they think the Tories are toast. This ain't over until it's over - I remember '92 all too well. NEVER trust a Tory who says they're not going to vote - they always do. And Labour is closer to 40 percent than 50, not far off what Corbyn got in 2017 - they are relying on a Tory split/ collapsed vote. Never underestimate a Tory's determination to act in myopic self-interest and venal hatred - they are cockroach-like in their survival instincts. Nah, this time I'm voting. Im not trusting in polls or spin - the bastards need stamping on, set on fire and then flushed down the toilet with a litre of Jeyes Fluid. Then they'd probably still survive when they got into their ****-infested rivers, I suppose.
Awh ****, if that's the case Starmer shouldn't have called the left anti semitic and told us to go **** ourselves Oh what a pity, nevermind
Apparently the Ingurland game tonight is in danger of being postponed due to the boring flat soccerball factor. No word of a lie.
The Tories must be brought to their knees for what they’ve done. The only way to do that is to vote them out, preferably into oblivion. Still plenty of Labour lefties in London btw.
I remember trying to get rid of the tories before only to have the sensibles shoot us in the back. This time I'll sit in the garden drinking IPA like a massive **** instead
As said, I despise Starmer. But I dont hate him enough to allow this corrupt, cryptofascist Tory party another 5 years at stripping the country of all its assets. I may not be for Starmer, but I know Im against the Tories. I gave up on unicorn politics a long time ago. All that matters is getting the bastards out. Utopia may be a long way off, but we have to get out of Hell first to start the journey. And that's enough cliches from QuarterDongII for today!
I voted for Corbyn twice at GEs even though I thought he was a loon. My conscience is clear on that score. I did vote against him and leave the party in leadership elections, but Id never risk letting the Tories in by not voting Labour ( or not voting tactically when appropriate). Each to their own though. And Icebreaker IPA is sound. Elvis Juice is even better though.
Starmer and his backers hated the left enough to let Boris in Call it unicorn politics if you want but Labour were sabotaged knowing the farce that would be elected and Starmer was part of it and accepted it Good luck n stuff but I'm with the Pegasus and the Kelpies in the garden
