Saw Bryn Law on Sky Sports News earlier (teatime Monday).
I remember listening to Bryn commentating on Radio Leeds way back when Speedo was in his heydey at Leeds.
They had obviously remained close mates 20+ yrs later.
To see poor old Bryn break down in tears on live TV outside Elland Road as he described texting Speedo after hearing the rumours, asking him to ring him back................
Poor sod, I was moved to tears.
Sums up the impact Gary Speed had on peoples lives & the huge loss felt by so many, not just people who knew him, but the ordinary fan too.
    Chin up Bryn. God Bless.

It'll be interesting to see the players reaction after 11 minutes today when the travelling fans sing his name for a whole 11 minutes non stop. Brings a lump to the throat just thinking about it.

Have to say that watching the Robbie Savage interview did it for me. Poor bloke could hardly get his words out and struggled to open his mouth. Fought back the tears. Made me cry my eyes out.

Sad times. I still don't believe it.

Gary Speed. All round bloody great bloke. Do we really think the chanting and applause will last only 11 minutes? Somehow.... I doubt it...

I won't be there tonight but I'll definitely be singing along at home - lets all do that. I'll be there on Saturday though. Singing again.

    One Gary Speed.

    :)

Can't watch it too distressing to see someone like that break down live on TV, even Georgie looked as if she was going to break down. Good luck tonight.

I've really struggled with all this! I never thought I'd be so effected by the loss of someone I've only seen play football. I never met him just watched him and his career because he was ex Leeds United.

The 5 Live broadcast on Sunday was sad and very emotional, I recommend you all listen to it. I cried uncontrollably at some of the stories.

    A very sad loss.
