Same feelings about Mick Lynch. Sitting in his mansion telling people with very little money to stay away from work and do without money, whilst his big wage continues to drop in the bank every month. The guy is a fraud.
Government destroys £1.4bn of PPE from one Covid deal https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cll476qzm85o
To be fair not sure why that's front page news. From reading the article, all that ppe is was fine and within regulations and was supplying nhs even before the **** hit the fan. The reason they are getting rid of it now is because its past its best before date not because they were ****ty tory rushed in ppe
don't blame them as they became targets despite this just being a pure case of yet more NHS incompetence . Since they still pay UK taxes who cares .
Don't think it was the 'NHS' allocating lucrative PPE contracts to Tory donor companies and the coffers of Mone and hubby ...
Guy is a champion of his people, if only we had a government with half the fight and intelligence Mick has and we might not be in this utter mess we're in now. Id vote for him for pm if i could
It’s a bit **** that they destroy it all though - sure there are plenty of countries that would take it. We use to provide all our out of date PPE to hospitals in Papua New Guinea when we worked there. If we had known we weren’t going to use it 2years ago we could have shipped it somewhere and the saved storage costs would have probably covered the shipping.
well that was part of "NHS incompetence" reference . Use or give it to care homes , MSF , Unicef , other countries instead we spend a fortune storing it and then destroying it
err this stuff was from a legitimate and longstanding supplier and has nowt to do with the VIP lane from what has been reported
For 'privacy' reasons Mrs Stoute and her husband bought a £30m seafront villa in Barbados; a yacht; a £6m house in the south of England and an international equestrian centre in Bedfordshire.
The BBC understands that at least £100m of public money has additionally been spent on storing and incinerating the excess stock since its purchase.
you seem surprised that the owners of what had become a hugely successful business made a ton of money and are now spending some of it .
