Foo Fighters gig was outstanding, they were fabulous and Dave Grohl is a great front man. We were actually in the stands and quite along way away from the stage, but the sound was excellent. My only complaint would be that its actually worse than Wembley to get away from gig finished at 2230 and we got to Stratford Underground at 2345!
Bosnia aren't in the Euros, but this made me laugh, so it's in. Pissed up old blokes eating goat and dancing? Why not?
I went there for the Olympics and getting out was a complete ****ing nightmare. We walked for miles with someone not capable of walking that distance. It really is a dreadful and soulless place.
Walking miles late at night around that area, particularly if you don't know the place that well, is not to be advised!!

Hawkins Junior played on 1 song, Josh Freese was the main drummer. Seems that a lot has been made of Grohl saying "You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right ****ing place.” after saying something about Swifties, but it was very tongue in cheek in my opinion. Later on he also said that his daughter Violet who joined him for a couple of songs was the best singer you would hear in a stadium this weekend
I know! As a 'follower' I was able to get two tickets for the 2nd London date at the Palladium this morning. Went on the site as it opened and 75% of seats already gone. I managed to get a couple in the Royal Circle. Public sale on Thursday but cannot imagine there will be much left! (£65 each - so not excessive) He's playing smaller venues and focusing on the Harmony Codex and the next album due out at the end of the year - so the venues are likely going to be set up for the Atmos-style immersive sound system.
