Yet to see it, but I reckon he'd make a cracking ball playing centre back. He has all the attributes. strong physically, great at interceptions, blocking, heading, tackling, passing and has a bit pace.
Because he's not. He's a better left wing back (you know the ones that actually go forward and attack as opposed to left backs who venture as far as the halfway line before getting a nose bleed. But you knew that didn't you )
I actually think he could do quite well there but cm is his best position.. the thing is I didn't have to know just his attributes only those along with the position he played growing up. CM
Like I said you are the one guilty of your own convictions. If you don't think Hall is a better LB than Dan Burn I can't help you.. it's your position The coming years will be good.
The thing is its all back to front at the minute. Not just with us but all teams. Left footers play as Right sided attackers and right footers play left sided attackers with the idea being they cut in and score as opposed to crossing the ball. Someone's eventually going to come up with a radical idea which has 4 defenders 4 midfielders and 2 strikers and it will take the game by storm
Ha ha you’re right. I just think we have to many on the left. With the current squad and playing a 4-3-3 I would have it as Willock Bruno Tonali with Gordon Isak and Joelinton in front.
Thing is, Nico Williams is the easiest deal to get done as he has a release clause of £40m but he's another left forward. Which would give us Gordon Barnes Williams Hall as offensive left sided players
This season should see the end of having to rely on Longstaff, lascelles and basically sub grade players. I take the piss but adding kelly, lewin neto and another cb and Newcastle will have good strength in depth.
Williams is good left and right... left probably best though... looks out-of reach..arsenal going in for him
4 of which were at left wing and 1 as an emergency centre back. Played last 3 as left back in PL (all 3 started and played full game). 15 of his 16 appearances for u21's were in midfield (mixture of roles ranging from left midfield, central midfield and defensive midfield)
Joelinton played upfront now look at him.... trippier cm..It's all common stuff. Tbh the fact you guys still haven't figured out that he's a better left back than big is baffling but hey that's what you think.
What more information do you need ?you're entitled to think burns better.. I'm 100% saying he's nowhere near as good... Hall is a proper player.. only going to get better. I've had thread idea
