    Or maybe he'll consider that chasing the money has bought him nothing but misery and splinters in the arse from being on the bench so much. He is happy, scoring goals and playing in a team that will give him every chance to continue to do so.

    Pool can have him (for 170K a week), he misses way too many chances for me. Good player though and has improved Spurs, certain improvement on Pav and Crouch.

    Caught tallking bollocks..again!! More like. I disagree that he's not important. For me, along with Parker & Sandro, he's what our team has been missing for some time now. He also happens to be,when he's happy & settled, IMHO, one of the best strikers in the world - without any doubt one of the most difficult for any defence to deal with.

  7. When I read this story, my immediate reactions was "hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!" until I very nearly pissed in my pants. The deluded Mickey Mousers are in a complete fantasy world, at the moment.

    What's more likely to happen is that they will blow £40 million on Demba Ba, and loan Carroll back to the Toon. Ba will suddenly revert back to not scoring any goals, and Carroll will suddenly remember that he much prepared playing with the Toon than the 'Pool and start scoring goals again. Perhaps I am being harsh on the Mickey Mousers, but I don't really care <ok>

    Have you seen who printed the article?

    Caught Offside... That website which makes up crap on a daily basis.

    Adebayor is scoring goals for you and looks happy. I suspect he'll end up at Spurs on a permanent basis and he will be a good signing for you. Won't end up at Liverpool.

    <ok>

    Just the media's pro-Mouser attitude... same on the BBC:

    1807: Liverpool can take a lot of heart from that performace though, as they extend their unbeaten record against the top sides this season.

    Guess the 4-0 against 3rd-placed Spurs didn't count then?

  10. There is a massive media bias against us being viewed as a big club, as anyone who saw MOTD last night. Lawro (that bearded tramp) completely and utterly spurned Linnaker's suggestion that we're looking good in 3rd this weekend. Some might say that he's merely having a joke with Linnaker, bearing in mind his Spurs connection, but Lawro has always been dismissive of us. He'll admit to us being a dangerous side, but he refuses to see us as serious top 4 contenders, and certainly no-where near good enough to challenge any higher. By the same token, he also firmly believes that the likes of Mousers, Gooners and Chavs are merely going through a bit of a rough time.

    If we finish 3rd or better this season, I think Lawro should submit to standing in the semi-circle at WHL and being pissed on by the players, groundsmen, and their respective families, including pets. I think that would only be fair.

    Liverpool think they can get Adebayor.
    --------------------------------------

    They've also been thinking since the inception of the PL that "next year will be their year"! :D

    I don't know if they will get Ade but I think Liverpool will get better. I'm backing them to beat Chelsea again.

    Ade likes living in London, he's very settled here from his Arsenal days, he's said he doesn't like it in the North West....the more the bloke says, the more I like him! Scouse arrogance/delusion at work again...dream on!

    Where players live reminds me of something Woodgate said. Playing away at West Ham used to really piss him off and not just for the obvious reason! He lived in Canary Wharf, but had to drive to WHL, to get the coach, to the pre match hotel...in Canary Wharf! <laugh>
