I'm guessing it's the same and my father in law, you invest in a horse and have part ownership and a percentage of any winnings. @Saf ?
That’s her in my avi. She’s a little beauty. She’s only 2 year old and has never raced in her life yet. Both her dad and grandad won the Irish derby and the Derby, so she’s from good stock. She’s still growing but she’ll be ready to rock properly next season, her pedigree tells us this. We are targeting the big races, all going well. She cost 180,000 guineas. Gone all in on her. I paid a very small fraction of that for my share.
Yeah, pretty much mate. Monthly training fees as well. We pay just over 2 grand a month between us for her training and upkeep. She’s with what I believe to be the countries top trainer, though.
I nearly sold those back in my wolf of wall street days. I went for the wine investments scam instead
Who's the trainer? - is it Varian by any chance? ... my cousin did something similar; Varian had quite a few syndicate horses - strikingly well bred ones - my cousin had a share in a horse called Australis ... sire was Australia another Derby winner ...
Mr Haggis. She’s down at Newmarket. Same sire. Do you know who the dam was? Australia has covered many!
He doesn’t have one in particular. He prefers to use different jockeys suited to the horses needs and where it is at in his/her career. I know he’s fond of James Doyle and Adam Farragher.
