"Peter Gulacsi is set to continue in goal as Adriano Basso's knee problem isn't 100 per cent right and will once again restrict him to a place on the bench."

    - From the OWS

Thank god he's not just out of favour, Gulasci is piss poor, and I really worry about him.
Should never of been beaten at his front post on Saturday, and his kicking is dreadful.

Sooner Bass' is back, the better!

    Bring back Vito!

Oh for ****'s sake. I hate Gulacsi, and I've not seen him play for over 2 months.

If Basso's fit enough to be on the bench, he's fit enough to be on the pitch, I'd rather risk him starting the game and potentially having to come off, then just assuming he won't make it and putting up with Gulasci. We either need Basso fit, or we need a new keeper in Jan, we won't get promoted with Gulasci between the sticks, he's got our back four bricking it all the time.

I would like to see us sign a keeper in January as we will need to sign one next summer regardless, so we may as well do it in January and bed that person into the team. And please can we send Gulasci back to Liverpool. I find it astounding that he is on their books, he is the worst keeper we have had in quite a few years.

Mannone for me - either on loan or on a permanent deal. Basso has dodgy kness, getting on a bit now at 36 whilst Gulacsi fills no-one with confidence.

Such an important piece of the jigsaw. Sort it Nick please asap.

Nothing can be done at the moment other than to play Basso, so there's no point in getting him to 'Sort it out' (hate that phrase)

I'm sure we will go in for a GK in January.

He was at fault for the second. Got beat at his near post when he shouldn't.
Got to admit was better at catching the ball, but its going to be an improvement when he couldnt catch a thing before. His kick was awful towards the end of the game, kicked it straight to them and they piled on the pressure. Coincedently, we lost.

Gulacsi didn't do a thing wrong, but he lies with Adebola in the scapegoat category.

No GK should get beat at his near post.

No players have confidence in him, fans neither. Basso back the better.

    Complete and utter ****ing bollocks.

The back four are nervous with Gulasci behind them, it's nothing to do with individual errors, it's about the fact that the back four don't trust him at all and if he's making a call, then he's doing it too quietly or the defence are ignoring him because they don't act on it. He's a liability and it's got absolutely **** all to do with scapegoat's.

Talking out of your arse. He had no chance with any of the goals .

Golden bollocks Chester was ****ing dire on Saturday but alas it's all Gulascis fault.

    Unbelievable.

For me the first goal should have been snuffed out before it came to Chester, Dawson missed a header and pointed Dudgeon on the inside when he should have marked the outside man, although Chester missed the header when it came to him, Gulacsi could have come and claimed it as well, all in all just poor defending. I'd put it more down to Dawson just getting on the pitch and not having time to adjust.
Second Hobbs misses his header and Chester and Gulacsi aren't quick enough to react and its a good finish from Edgar.
The third goal is onside and Dudgeon loses his man, although for me the guy stood offside is interfering.

Agree that the defence don't look confident with Gulacsi though and would sooner have Basso in.
But that match is over on to take all three points to Southampton ;)
