Had an awful game. Got booked early and doesn't look like he knows what he's supposed to be doing.
Wrong player for the circumstances though, to be fair. He's not a midfielder that will dominate possession or create chances.
 
Dreadful. Didn't learn from the first match and repeated the awful performance.
I don't think that either Southgate nor the pundits understand the problem.

That's an insane amount of goal threat across the squad, yet how many good chances were created?

No left-backs, one winger, no creative deep-lying players and a sluggish, negative approach neutralises the team.
What's the supposed intent behind the team selection? What's the team identity?
It's not Gegenpressing, it's not tika-taka, it's not Guardiola-style attritional possession. What is it?
