I think we look a lot better with Foden in the middle. Get AA off, he brings **** all to the party. He’s just looking for the Hollywood moment all the time and produces nothing.
Not a huge fan of Rashford as a person but he and Grealish must be giving themselves a good look up and down and wondering just how bad they really are not to be selected for this squad... Southgate needs to ****ing man up here and sort this 2nd half before it's too late!!!
Alexander-Arnold’s performances haven’t been mentioned much compared to others but I don’t think he’s been great either. He’s misplaced a few passes in this game and against Serbia and tries to do too much close to our own box. Stick Bellingham next to rice as a box-to-box/number 8, move Foden to the number 10 and get Gordon on second half.
Panel ripping Southgate tactics apart. Rightly so. So much wrong with that half which was so typical of Southgate s England. AA alongside Rice isn't working and he's ambling lazily around, often looking lost. I guess it's Southgates instructions. Get him off, move Bellingham there, Foden 10 and a proper winger on. I’ve, more often than not, given Southgate the benefit of the doubt but I’m starting to realise that he really is out of his depth at this level.
