No, they always start off full of fire and hope. You want to play them late on, when all the early vigor has worn off and they're coming back down to ground and don't fight anymore. They're dangerous in those first few games and we could lose points. Especially since Arne Slot will be new and won't have learnt anyone's name yet. Heck, he'll only just have learnt where his seat is.
New CL format means anyone competing in it will be playing midweek and weekend every week for about four months without a break bar the two international break weeks (so no break)
Meh, like I say it’s 2 extra games compared to previous seasons so hardly ground breaking Championship teams could end up playing 49 league games a season. That’s 11 more than a prem team - potentially 3 more than a CL team who doesn’t go through the group stages.
I think the level of games needs to be understood first. We only need be top 24 or something stupid to go to knockouts or top 8 to save the round of 32 I can't really now. You.can basically look at games and decide which ones to try in and which to rotate in imo.
