I'd not argue the geopolitics, but I would argue the semantics - the Nazis and Soviets carved up Poland in a military pact, whereas the British signed an ineffectual treaty to avoid the spread of Nazism, that came anyway. It was a diplomatic catastrophe, but it wasn't a military alliance: the Ribbentrop/Molotov pact was such a military alliance, in practice if not in words.
There was also a massive Russian division fighting for Nazi Germany, Mindoid ignores that and accuses Ukraine of being pro-Nazi, even though they lost millions fighting for the Soviets.
The soviets did not agree to pressurise the Poles into a Nazi surrender. They agreed to the make up of borders and not fight for 10 years. They did not agree to help each other militarily. The Brits wrote to the Czechoslovakians and told them to surrender to their enemies. Interestingly the holy Poles tried to steal a bit of Czechovaklia at the same time, which seems military alliancey if we apply the same rules
