    Yes, he looked totally at home. I think France expected an easy evening, but could have lost it .

    Perhaps it's just my rebellious nature, but I don't like the idea of 'the suits' imposing this on clubs. It may well be a good idea for clubs to host such forums if they want to - and if the fans want them/can be bothered to turn up - but this just smacks of a nanny state & too many of the powers-that-be getting carried away by their own sense of self-importance.

    You can probably tell from this that I've never liked or kow-towed to authority - my wife is often amazed at how I managed to rise so high in the ranks of the Public Service in Australia...<laugh>

    And quite often what is said at these things doesn’t always happen or people complain the right thing wasn’t asked etc .

    It seems to me of little use if the clubs do it as a requirement rather than a desire. In the same way, fans that hold blinkered views on what their club can actually afford to do, add little to the event. Both sides need to be open-minded, and actually listen to what is being said, otherwise it will be like talking to a politician who will say anything to get your vote.

    I never really understood what the position he held does anyway, so wonder if his moving on will be any great loss.

    As long as he's not off with a list of our players for Udinese to buy...
