The only thing that's keeping me hoping its Cifuentes, even though I think it would leak at the QPR end, is that we might be finalising everything with HIM before we go to QPR. Of course that's not technically "allowed" but it happens, everywhere.

So we may be concluding a deal with him, and THEN go to QPR. And if QPR have already set a compensation level weeks ago (as Nixon says, I know) , then the leaking from the QPR end might not happen until the deal is already agreed.

 

Happens all the time, aye. Clubs discuss with the manager before agreeing compensation. Stoke would have done the exact same to us with Alex Neil.

We have to, pre season apparently starts next Monday for us. Can’t have Dodds & Proctor be leading it after that shambolic 3 months.

 

2 weeks today innit?

 

Club said late June so i'd say anytime from next Monday

 

Knowing our lot they will have told the players to report back for 31st June

 

What I've I Missed?

 

I've always believed we'd get our new manager/coach in by 1st July. Happy to chill and relax until then.

 

So that QPR bloke ain't coming then?

 

Which by the clubs own words is after pre season has started.
