It’s a mix of the genuine expected quality of the teams and the weight of money so people blindly backing England pushes the odds down every time but Betfair odds suggest we are genuinely at least as good as France. Maybe we are and I’m wrong but I’m not sure France, Germany or Portugal would swap their XIs for ours.

Blow Serbia away and obviously it’s coming home. Draw and Southgate has to go now.

I've been surprised how some of the early games have been so one-sided, I had boring draws on my betting slip so I obviously know absolutely nothing <doh>
 
What has impressed me is the effectiveness and speed of the press by the winning teams so far. Relentless. Some great examples for Marti to show our squad pre-season.

England look a little precarious defensively but undoubted talent through the middle and up front.
So just score more than the opposition! Simples!

I just get worried when Shearer keeps going on about England winning the whole thing......

There are a lot of decent sides here.....
