For me, if he’s in charge day one of pre season - that is completely unacceptable. If the new manager (and staff) isn’t in place by late June it is pathetic. Truly.
If they don't sort their **** out it'll be a relegation battle. The writing was on the wall in the second half of the season.
Probably a good thing for them. Been poor lately, they have young fullbacks ready to go and he's on a big wage so will help with FFP to get him off the books. Smart decision making.
It’s already pathetic mate. That ship has sailed. We’re getting to the point now where it could become damaging. Unbelievable achievement when they’ve had since February to get this sorted. I’m pretty furious now to be honest. Anyway, all England aren’t we.
Tired of this head coach search now to the point where i'd take pretty much anyone. No time at all for the incoming head coach to settle and plan for pre season now so at least the first portion of pre season will be planned by the existing coaches. Even an appointment deemed as a good one at this stage i'd struggle to praise that much. Where's the succession planning? Where's the continuity? Where's the ****ing plan? Anyway, it's coming home.
I’m quietly confident that we’ll have some sort of positive news/breakthrough this week, feel things could be coming to a head. I might apply for a job at the Sunderland or Northern echo if my feeling comes off.
The players are all off on holiday I doubt they’ve given a second thought. The key part of this for me is the new man is in place by the first day preseason. I will back the club until such time as Mike Dodds is taking preseason training then I’m done.
He obviously isn't under consideration. Feelings have been made clear and apparent for several months.
I can see why you feel that way like, but I’ve always said as long as someone is in by start of pre season. Would prefer it to be earlier like.
Got to the point where I’d feel absolutely nothing if we found out KLD was going. May even be a bit relieved. Which is quite something considering 12 months ago I thought he was the best thing to happen to our club in a long time
There's a lot of preparation goes on in the close season these days though, dictated by what kind of shape you want your players in when they return. We won't have done any of that is my overriding feeling. It really feels like everyone at the club involved with the playing side just ****ed everything off in February.
Not sure why you would be relieved, the club has changed massively in a short space of time from the previous owners.
Better the devil you know, for me. I’d rather KLD spend his millions bringing the SOL up-to-date rather than risk another SD and CM who have us rattling through our sheds for a screwdriver and tin of paint to help with the upkeep.
I feel similar, impossible to feel positive about much at the minute, that being said if we announce Cifuentes I’ll probably do a 180 like the fickle bastard I am
Agree with this way of thinking, just think KLD needs to turn around what is turning into a pretty rocky patch in his ownership. A good manager and a few quality signings and things look very different.
