Got beaten in the air for the first two goals - probably had his poorest game this season. Noticed also that the linesman kept his flag down for their winning goal even though one of their forwards was clearly offside and it would have been impossible for him to tell which of the two forwards the pass was aimed for. Still gutted.
I absolutely hate this modern offside rule where every man in his dog are offside whether they're even remotely involved in the incident or not. As such I'd normally be glad it wasn't called offside if I was watching as a neutral. BUT I have to think if it was any other team it would have been disallowed, the officials always seem to be very fussy about those types of incidents, but predictable the one exception worked against us... Or you're ignoring the fact we're way short of cover at CB as it is and if Cooper is up to it we might as well have him in the squad.
Didn't the offside player decide to stop right in what was the path of the defender meaning JR got a couple of yards advantage? Cooper will probably be coming back because he's not been playing for Huddersfield, he's as well sitting behind our dugout as behind theirs.
he's not worth £10 million pounds on paper but he is to us if it means a promotion push with a tighter defence. His market value does not reflect his value to our team
