Six Premier League clubs face having to sell players before the end of June to comply with profit and sustainability rules. Sky Sports News understands Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Everton, Nottingham Forest and Leicester City are the clubs under pressure. I wonder if there will be any bargains going that we can afford to pay?
Watching England v Iceland Even more depressing than watching Watford under IV playing a very physical team who close down space very well
Getting the bad performance out of the way hopefully. Even Kane missed a sitter. Do worry about the defence though lacking concentrating/focus.
I wonder how many ex players will actually come through or are they going to get special dispensation and start higher up the ladder? https://archive.ph/uD2t1 Presume it will be generally lower league ex ones or those who have had to retire rather than those who have made their money.
The way most of them argue with referees when yellow or red carded and make ludicrous penalty appeals etc, I doubt many of them are sufficiently well-acquainted with the laws of the game to be successful referees.
No they soon have their own ideas and be called out for being bias or having an agenda against a team . And much like refs now might feel under pressure not to upset someone usually a big name .
What a good idea. Interestingly, in RU , the players seem to talk ( as in TALK) to the referee all the time - but there is no aggro. So refreshing.
Sad news from the football world today. Kevin Campbell has passed away aged 54 and the Millwall keeper Matija Sarkic died at just 26 from a illness.
The American owners at Birmingham wanted a game in the USA allegedly. https://x.com/MikeKeegan_DM/status/1805205978360508829?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^tweet
