We took both of our children there as their first holidays abroad. My daughter is 29, so that’s the last time before now. Thought it would be nice to take my granddaughter there to carry on some kind of tradition (well at least with nanny and grandad). It was always known as “buggy island” as they catered for small children.
Morning. Forecast to be 25 today, just a few wispy clouds being blown away before another day of wall to wall sunshine!
Marnin' Off to the hospital again in a bit to see my old dear and try and work out next steps. Also trying to prep for another big event coming up. And putting stuff together for my daughter's birthday party at the weekend Spinnin plates ....
Fuking lol So Mike Graham of talk talk tv complained to my client yday that i berated him in the street yday morning. I Did no such thing, i only asked if he had any water to feed my concrete plant. Just chatting to the client and shes cracking up cos she hates him too What a **** tho grassing me up lol
I don't know who Mike Graham is, I never listen to talk talk and I don't get the gag about a concrete plant.
He’s fat right wing knobhead. Had an argument with a guest from Greenpeace or someone like that about whether or not you could grow concrete. Was quite entertaining on talksport with Mike Parry back in the day
Up at the hospital again today and this is the scene again. At least 10-12 ambulances waiting with people being treated in the back. Probs half the number that there was the other day, but it’s a constant stream 24/7. Huge respect to those working in A&E dealing with a never ending queue of people.
Ambulances had a 6 hour wait at one point in Liverpool. Some people were eventually seen/treated and discharged in the back of the ambulance. Corridors were filled with patients waiting to be seen. We’ve allowed our population to rise at an enormous rate without building the new homes, schools, hospitals that we desperately need. I’ve a little bit of sympathy, because in just over a decade we’ve been through a global financial crash, a global pandemic, a war in Europe and unprecedented rises in energy bills. We’ve also spunked billions up the wall which is unforgivable by the recent Tory governments. Time to get a grip on it. Both major political parties have used the NHS for their campaigning over decades but they’ve both failed us with keeping it up to standard.
The bit of Luton around the football ground or any part of Stoke city centre. Gillingham was dog rough the last time I went too but about 15 years ago. Brb to confirm.
