TBH mate, as far as I can see he's only talking about the problem, not the solution ... ... we need certain immigrants because some young white males, who don't want them, won't do the jobs they will. Not all immigrants are evil, the NHS is crammed with them.
You're making economic arguments for a cultural problem, there are people who would revert back to feudal farmers in order to sort the country out, keep that in mind.
Nah, most people are too selfish imo. Anyway, whatever the problem I've no idea how Farage would solve it ... ... sadly I don't think he knows or cares eitger tbh. There's just no other bandwagon strong enough to jump on whether it's NHS dentists or potholes ... ... nothing will guarantee more votes than immigrants, racism and the flag.
Too complicated for me mate, these things can go off on so many tangents I find them impossible and endless, like religion ... ... the issue is the election and the sub-issue is Farage, I just don't think he has the answer to his own questions.
I won't vote Tory, I can't vote Labour, Green/Lib Dems are the school marms, I probably hate them the most, what options remain?
For you, none ... ... I want the Tories out because they're absolutely useless and I don't want a coalition. Labour may be no different to the Tories but I'll settle for being less corrupt and less wasteful. That would make me feel better plus I trust them with the NHS.
EH!!! Of course the Tories are to blame, like successive governments of the past, failure to make and deliver strong and unpopular decisions
I've just realised Sunak has totally misjudged this election date. At 8pm tonight the Euros kick off at which point politicians shouting at each other will be forgotten by half the voters. The election is before the quarter finals and it could be a very low turnout imo. Sunak thought Wales would be there which shows how in touch he is ... ... I can't wait to see him waving a flag and pretending he's 'cheering on the boys'
Noticed he was "seen" attending a Southampton match shortly after announcing the election. Probably his first time there but probably means he is a "man of the people" in his own mind
Farage to raise the income tax barrier from £12k to £20k, that would be amazing for part-time workers and people on minimum wage, I know he is loathed on here but if he can pull that off he would be doing a world of good.
I'd be interested to know the cost of doing it, but it would definitely stimulate the economy and allow it to grow
There will be counter arguments about how to fund public services with less tax, but they are critiques from the right, people under that barrier are using food banks and struggling bad, this will help them greatly.
