Summerville does fit Brighton's profile. He'd come on leaps and bounds tbh and then he would be sold to the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool
Of all the clubs he's been linked with, Brighton would seem the better fit. Talk of Brighton releasing Pascal Gros, 33 next week but still a quality player, wonder if we could have him part of a deal.
Rumour no substance but. We're supposed to be looking at Mateusz Musiałowski, 20 yr old left winger, released by Liverpool, to replace Summerville. Alan Nixon, not the most reliable, reporting Leeds have accepted Cresswell's transfer request and are asking for £3m plus add ons, with Toulose, Hannover and Hertha Berlin interested clubs
His contracts up and he won't resign, wants first team football, having a dig, his agent saying he'll probably end up back in Poland or possibly Holland, so likely not a goer
We need to use the loan system far better and for first team ready players. Quite a few clubs promoted recently have done just that.
Can't remember the exact wording but we're supposedly using the loan system to the full extent this season. Rodon and Skipp from Spurs still doing the rounds.
This one doesn't surprise me the lad is in demand supposedly, Rangers tried a couple of times to get him for about £500K plus there were those comments from Farke back at the start of the calendar year.
The only problem with it is, you end up with three more players to find at the start of a new season if promoted. If they get us promoted great and I should worry about that then but you feel that you’re starting off on the back foot The whole loan system needs looking at and limiting, PL teams should not be allowed to have so much unwanted talent
I get your point but live in the here and now. They get you promoted and you can afford to bring in better quality players.
DF brought Skipp to Carrow Road a couple of years back. If you need a DM then he was the best we have seen for a long time. Doesn't seem to fit in the system Spurs use.
Seen this one earlier today. It's interesting to say the least. 29 years old does smell like a Red Bull signing/Scouting effort.
To be fair we’ve got such a young squad I feel a few older heads that can start would do nicely. Apart from Firpo, Kamara & Rodon we didn’t have anyone starting over 24 and the older heads were probably the most consistent throughout the season.
Not transfer news as such but Matteo Joseph looks like he might be selected for Spains Olympic games squad. That runs until August 9th and that rules him out of the entire pre season schedule at Leeds. Looking like Bamford will be the starter come the first game of the season.
