Very nice, where are you?

 

I was looking at the news earlier, I saw the G7 summit is in Fasano (Puglia/Apulia) looked bloody hot! It reminded me you had been looking out that way.

 

It's for next year, big anniversary so need somewhere really nice.

 

Lecce is favourite at the moment.

 

Looking at a map it's a city, so a good choice for that region because it should have good access to various transport links to any other places you might want to visit. Also only 20 mins to the beach if your other half fancies that one day - just a quick random google showed transport links https://www.rome2rio.com/s/San-Cataldo-Apulia-Italy/Lecce it says the bus is only £1 for that trip.

 

Yeah it's got a bit of everything and looks stunning.

Went there as a yoof ... Cala N'porta (sp) was very nice but much quieter than Majorca ...

 

Did they even have aeroplanes when you was younger?

 

No we went by boat - took us a week to get there ...

... was complicated because we were sailing into a head wind and the mainsail kept tearing ...
