lol brb having a little **** over all of that <laugh>

But I think the point stands, if you’re an MP then I think that should be your only job. Not sure I’d be happy with my GP not being available because they are up in Westminster or overseas doing MP work.

I do think it’s good that GPs and people from other jobs then go into Politics though as it gives MPs a well rounded background of the issues the NHS and wider society faces.

I just don’t think they should do both at the same time

Hello Dr Khan ? I have this crushing pain in my chest and shortness of breath.

Sorry, I’m at Westminster until Friday evening, can it wait until first thing Monday morning ?

I've said on here before it should be the only job they should have, I just knew you hadn't thought it through. What I don't agree with is that person should have to come from a certain sector, I really don't think it matters where they come from as long as the voters put them where they are. If there was any rule I'd stop millioanaires from becoming PM, because I don't think they can relate to a cost of living crisis. That would rule out both Sunak and Starmer standing on net worth. Anyway you don't understand poverty either, what was it you told the kid who wanted a bubblegum ice cream, go to Safeways <laugh> When that kid grows up he'll be fooking your business right off. Sometimes thoughtfulness and love in the world goes a long way...

    Labour manifesto launched

I’ll have a good look through it later, but things that jump out at me

    Ending Non dom tax breaks
    Closing tax avoidance loopholes
Ending the VAT exemption for private school fees

If you are turning kids away as you suggested, maybe you should cater for them in someway, afterall, you've banged on enough about how deprived the area is. Or just adjust your sale skills appropriately and tell them you have something better and charge a child rate and portion accordingly, rather than turning business away. Just my thoughts, not suggesting they are right, just how I think.

That's why I suggested your sale skills needed some work, to promote the flavors you do sell.

You can come and work for me if you like lol

I’ll give you 10% of sales as a wage.

You’ll need to be selling a **** ton of bubblegum flavour to 8 year olds to make it work though <laugh>

Ice cream van at uni sold weed. You’d have 20 people in the queue at midday in November.
