Lampard would not be at the top of my list, I'll support him if he were to get it but he would not be my choice at all.
With the way the candidates are going we might be wishing we did get lampard looking back if we end up with challionor or robinson
Challinor is 20 times the coach Lampard is and fits what we are doing here so much better. Zero positives to Lampard other than a bit media attention.
Did ok at Derby, note ok not necessarily good. Got a job for the boys at Chelsea, again did ok at best, Everton job was given to him off fumes I reckon, and then had a 9% win rate at Chelsea the second time around. I would bet whatever job he gets next is his last.
Not convinced Lampard even wants to be in management don’t know what it is about him just something seems off with him
Definitely don't want Challinor. Totally unproven at this level of football, as well as the level below us. He's never managed above League Two. Lampard would be a risk...has positives, has negatives. There's worse out there, and better, but we're struggling attracting the better. As Carlton Palmer put it, it's going to take a coach who's desperate to get into work to come here and work with our set up. Lampard might just be desperate enough.
I dunno mind, I think it would be decent. I'd take him over plenty of the names linked and some of the names I see fans suggesting. But you're right it won't happen as we aren't forward thinking at all, Lampard is much more likely.
Always looks depressed and like he's been up all night looking after triplets. He comes across very flat.
