I'm of the belief that the club do have at any point in time a list of coaches doing well around Europe at a level where Sunderland would be a good next destination. Farioli was a perfect example and Will Still. However, our ability to get them to sign on the dotted is clearly the issue. Despite a recent history of league 1, last season being a bit disastrous, they are still coming for interviews and holding discussions so SAFC in the wider sense are still attractive to the outsider, thats a positive. So the current ownership/management team are clearly turning us from an attractive proposition to a less attractive one when they discuss their model. And thats a problem and totally worthy of criticism because thats bad leadership.

Know what it's called? Would definitely give it a go. I read an article about them a while ago that blew my mind. Might be revisionist waffle but it suggested they were actually quite superior beings to our lot in several ways but weren't the social creatures we are, and that's why they got wiped out. Thoughts? And the typical I know this for a fact post when most people haven’t a clue what’s actually happening So yesterday there was a rumour we were in for someone. Secrets of the Neanderthals. Someone I used to work with is on it so I'm biased, but I think it's very good. I'm no expert on them but, yes they were probably very intelligent and quite as capable of complex culture and society as we are. One theory is that we were simply nastier than them. It's pretty certain that interbreeding occurred between us and them. If you like that kind of thing there's one called Cave of Bones (I think) about the discovery of H.naledi (another human ancestor) in the Rising Star cave system in South Africa.
I know we had all our eggs in the WS basket, That was a mistake it was all signed sealed and delivered before Lens came calling. The mistake was putting all our eggs in one basket but im confident that the club will make a good appointment.

Don’t fall into the trap mate, ends in tears when they don’t come I only saw them under him twice last year, the 0-0 here where they were okay/we were awful but wasteful then against Leeds where they were excellent, the way he turned the tide there is what I find most impressive about him, exactly what’s needed here….
