Unplug it plug it back in, see if it resets whatever the problem is. On my Samsung tv it has a button on the back very bottom right hand corner (as you face the screen), that over-rides the remote control sensor, another option to try. Other than that buy a new one.
the step up from our 5 year old Samsung to a newer LG was a shock. Glad the wee man pushed it on the floor now
I read many years ago that LG pretty much developed the flat screen technology which was sold on to other manufacturers, but then decided to go it alone and sell them as LG. At the time I was looking to purchase my first flat screen so went with one. Was impressed from the start so have only bought LG since.
