His main position is LW. Can play RW though. Looks like transfermarket have his value at 30m euro. So for £15m that's a decent price.

I like him as a player and he is out of favour at Barca. For that price it’s a no brainer for me if true.

All these rumours. It’s great. Thinking back to prior takeover we where linked to absolute tripe.

 

Like Lloyd Kelly, Harvey Barnes and James Trafford. Thank god those days are behind us.

 

These three players are good players mate. Not galacticos. But solid players.

We can’t expect Mbappe class players.

We will be lucky if we get top six again next season.

Disagree, on both counts. Those players are plodders. Targett, when signed, wasn't much different to Kelly in ability. Trafford won't be ready for years, if he ever gets there. Barnes has been either injured or average.

However, top 6 is bare minimum, with the sheer amount of interest and what's riding on it.

 

Barnes when fit will score goals and get assists.
Trafford is a young England goalkeeper.
Kelly isn’t a LB is a CB and by all accounts is very highly rated by Bournemouth.

I think you need to accept we have to improve all areas of the squad.

 

Of course but you do it by improving the first XI. Trafford isn’t being bought for that, neither is Kelly, neither was Barnes. It’s not the right approach.

 

Kelly is. He is Schars long term replacement.

Barnes is a solid player.

Trafford a highly rated young goalkeeper who maybe our GK for a decade like Given.

We get him for £20m and that means we have plenty of money to spend elsewhere.

 

You did think Chris Wood was a bargain at £25m. Going off last season, Trafford is a similar bargain at £20m.

 

Bournemouth fans reckon Kelly will be in England team by end of next season playing at a bigger club.

And to the point above he’s a Burn upgrade, not a Schar replacement, but is he a better lb than Hall or a better LCB than Botman?

He's a genius and he's right about faith being useless on it's own. Faith will always be countered by good demonstrable evidence.
