I think Rosenior's 'success' has gone to his head ... ... he was given a good squad and didn't even make the play-offs. I'd love to see him do the same at Burnley.
Been busy as hell. Looks like **** has happened but something **** more than useful ****. Any care to give me an objective summary? (You know who you are/arent)
I'd agree that what I expect they're asking for is above and beyond the norm, limited if any of their own staff, limited input into recruitment, very likely appearance targets for some players (Jobe, Rigg) and to be open to modify playing style, probably adhoc requests and constant contact with Speakman required. If you're saying it's too much, I can see that, but I think it's right on the line, a line that will turn off a lot of candidates but could attract the right one.
Whoever gets their job, will be expected to challenge for top 2. They’ve got some cracking players for this level.
Rosenior coming here isn't happening as he wants to be part of the Burnley process (which their owners have said they're in no hurry over) and he's withdrawn himself from our own process. Sorry mate, I know you were very keen on Rosenior being our head coach.
Let's face it, Rosenior doesn't need to jump at the first opportunity, because he is still being paid by Hull, so can afford to bide his time until the right opportunity comes along. He probably wants the Derby job, but will have to wait for their gaffer to get the push.
I don't care too much about the specific terms. It bothers me more than they've imposed them (allegedly) and are still expecting to appoint from pretty much the mainstream. They've misjudged it in my opinion
Aye that’s a shame. Interesting that he’s in for a shout with a parachute club while some say he’s not good enough. We’ve chased the wrong people in my view then failed to land them. Don’t know the ins and outs, they’ll have a budget and one they’ll invest so I can see why he would do that. The owners need to think quickly about the failure to land bit and make us more attractive. A lot of fans and a nice training facility isn’t enough. Conditions, personalities and control will definitely be in the mix.
After the last year I’ve got zero confidence in them pulling one out the bag in the next couple weeks
If rosenior was the preferred candidate at this stage, then who will be left in the running that was thought of under him? Can’t even think of a name
No idea mate just a hypothetical question. I’d of thought he was a candidate though, a lot of different reports claiming it’s the case, some more reputable than others
Christ almighty. If you look at the last 8 months as a ‘bump’ and still think we have a ‘good thing’ nothing can help you. It’s easily as shambolic as the Donald years
