Well considering he got them the FA CUP by destroying their biggest rivals and qualified for Europa league, I'd say that's as good as they could have expected this season.
Forgetting the 8th place finish and the devaluation of his players due to the rows in the dressing room? come on homes, smell the coffee.
Man Utd's squad isn't as good as the top 6 squads. I fail to see how they could have expected more than 7th. They were level on points with us and essentially robbed us and chelsea of a European spot. 8th place + FA cup and Europa league is better than 6-7th with no europe or ECL and no fa cup.
Still can't work out how he's won two trophies. Howe bending over was a given, but Pep? That's still a head scratcher. His transfer record is abysmal, mind. Mount, Antony, Casemiro, Onana, Erikson. Amrabat, Weghorst, Dubravka.
Edit: Just noticed Benfica have seen Man U coming and thrown the price up for the kid who replaced Enzo to over £80m!
ETH has won more trophies in England than the past 15 Newcastle managers. When is the last time a manager won a trophy whilst at Newcastle? Like a real trophy. Must be the 50s? Doug Livingston in 1955.
Sir Jim Trampcliffe doesn't wanna pay the asking price for Brandthwaite (or Ca$hworth for that matter), i'm sure he thinks that they have some divine right to demand other clubs just give their staff away to them cos they're Man Yoo and everybody wants to play for them ! His tenure so far is proving to be equally as comical as some of the stuff that came out of our club in the Ashley/Penfold days, it's a beautiful thing to watch!
It's okay. He'll ask the Government to pay at the same time as building Man U a new ground and change their name to Manchester Team of the North or something similar.
