Interesting. I didn't think the last games where trent was put back in were anywhere near his best so there must be more of those than I thought. He was rmseriously unfit imo
Probably an anti Darwin person and looking for absolutely anyone to take his spot. Darwin should be there. He make mistakes and is not very polished... But he absolutely belongs on our first XI anyway.
Jota is the better player and I could make an argument for him being a starter over Nunez but he missed so many games this past season that he shouldn’t have been included. The only thing I can think is that his player ratings, on a smaller amount of games, averaged out higher than Nunez’.
I'm going to presume that team is based on points out of 20 averages. When you played you played really well and thr more you play the more your number averages down Jota did really well when available, no question
We massively missed Jota. I can never quite pin down his overall strengths. He’s not super quick, he’s not a brilliant dribbler, but he just finds the right spaces to finish, or sort of bundles his way through players. Def missed his ability when he was out though. 2 footed, good in the air as well.
He's just really effective. Just pops up and makes a run forward breaking the line or gets into right place and fires one in. Probably his "football smarts" is his asset.
He’s excellent at winning penalties and he’s very confident in all situations. When you’re that confident in yourself and your ability, the ball does whatever you want it to.
Yeah think Klopp talked about how intelligent he was in the press and I guess has that knowledge of where to be which helps. If he can stay injury free think could have a cracking year next year. Should be hitting 15 prem goals really.
The fact that Jota has just completed his UEFA B license shows that he’s probably thinking more in depth about his game than just looking for a pass and shooting. He is an intelligent player.
Klopp mentioned him when discussing injuries before. He said Jota is always mentioned in some capacity on his regular injury updates
Tinfoil staying on as Utd manager. Obviously don't want to pay out getting rid of him or nobody they approached wants anything to do with them.
Could be. It's a bottle job by Ratcliffe. He was gone prior to the fa cup final I think ten Hag will be sacked at the first sign of trouble next season and its another wasted window by man utd. Great stuff.
Must be **** for him seeing reports of owners meeting other managers, they are clearly sounding people out but at same time didn’t want to sack unless had someone better. Get the impression that they are now just making do with him because can’t find someone else which doesn’t scream confidence in his ability. 2 ways looking at it, woukdnt be surprise if ETH says **** this I’m leaving if you don’t have confidence in me. or maybe wants to stay and prove his worth
****, yes. But he could see it as a second chance and use it as motivation to prove them wrong. Trouble is, he's still got the same **** players so needs the owners / board to back him in the transfer market, will they? Think every non-Man Utd fan is happy about this decision though
Tin hat gets paid way more than anywhere else he could possibly go so he won't walk. The players showed their mettle v city. As in they failed to try a leg at all in the league games in the run up and then half of them rose from the grave like lazarus to be fit for the big final. They will be looking at ten hag as a dead man walking imo. They will probably be not to bothered about what he says to them. One thing is for sure he will need a good start in the league.
The bird have backed him. 80m for antony 70m for casemiro 40m for varane 70m for hjolund 60m for mount 50m for onana Can’t remember exact figures but something along those lines. That’s best part of 400m in 2 years.
Were some of those for ogs? Were some for whoever picks the donkeys at utd? Onana the dodgy keeper and the useless Anthony are certainly tin hat picks. Holland looks good when fit (his record suggested that would be rare event and so it seems to be) Mount was a disaster but I'm not sure who decided he was must have at utd Who wanted varane and casemiro?
