Best of luck to him. I liked him as our manager.

I'd be pretty pissed if Slater was sold, unless it was for silly money

Agreed, he's definitely a player we should be keeping in the squad

Every squad should have a player who can play in multiple positions - especially in these FFP days.

Look at the job Milner did for Liverpool and Man City over the years.

Well… not convinced he can play in any position.
He didn’t exactly shine as a right back.

No, but he can cover the position in an emergency.

Judging by what Alan Nixon has said as well, Rosenior has pulled himself out of the running for the Sunderland job. Must be confident of getting it.

I think Slater fit's in very well with TW philosophy, he seems to want high energy from his players.

Really hope one of these are appointed.
Under Lampard, Burnley will be erratic and drop points.
Under Rosie, Burney will be plodding and drop points.

Odds now 4/6 for the Sunderland job. It seems something has gone off. He must have offered to educate them and they wouldn't have it.

I would say more enjoyable, I thought the Leicester, Boro, QPR and Ipswich games were good games to watch. Many others before were boring.

For the Burnley job it's supposed to be between, Rosie, Fat Twat and the obnoxious little Welsh twat. :emoticon-0148-yes:

I'm not Rosie or Welsh, but nice of you to put my name in the frame. :emoticon-0125-mmm:

There were some enjoyable games home and away, winning at Southampton and the home draw with Ipswich two top teams which showed what our potential was. Unfortunately performances like stoke at home stick in people's minds, especially Acuns.

Actually the only downside of Rosie going to Burnley is that he’ll probably convince their owner to pay Man City whatever they want for Delap
