not so sure you did. it took you days to answer a question and what happened with the red wall was unique because these people were not tories it was a giant dealignment where them old bonds broke between working class voters and labour broke like no times before.

 

It was based on Boris promising to “get Brexit done”, and it was “oven ready “and on his promise to “level up” their areas. You could argue neither of these have been achieved, Brexit was completed, but it’s hardly oven ready, and their areas certainly haven’t been levelled up. It’s unlikely any of these areas will stay Tory. Time will tell.

 

working class voters in huge numbers abandoned labour in 2019 because it was like revisiting their own sick. with immigration now on steroids labour think immigration is too high. Starmer thinks immigration needs to be cut, he will control the borders does that make him loony???

 

The Liberals want to increase immigration by removing salary thresholds, remove the ban on foreign care workers bringing dependents to the UK, and remove the increase in income thresholds for family visas.

Wanting to increase immigration levels further is loony. The Leader of the Liberal party also thinks women can quite clearly have a penis.

 

Controlled migration is sensible, why is everyone fixated with “loony”, no one is suggesting anyone individual is loony, loony left and loony right are terms used to describe the far left/right of the two parties. No Starmer isn’t on the far left of the party if that’s what you’re asking.
