Back to the ELection; Sky is reporting that the LibDems have been the first party to publish their manifesto - was that Reform manifesto you posted on here not official then @Red Robin ?? https://news.sky.com/story/manifesto-checker-what-are-the-liberal-democrats-key-pledges-13150669 No surprises in there - usual stuff about rejoining the EU and introducing PR (which is just about the only topic that Labour and Tories fully agree on!)
I have considered the whole Reform option as I have so little faith/trust in the Tories or Labour. However, I went on their site at the weekend, and their policies and details are more scarce than Gashead fans at the Minimal on a Saturday, you can't take them seriously, sadly.
Mostly replying to other posters, This site is very one sided politically. Balance is a good thing generally I’m sure youd agree
I'll give it a pop heres my sketch as a poster who has never voted anything but labour what are red wall tories and why is Braverman a loony?
Balance is fine. Clifton had you on toast and you cried 'wind your neck in'. Hardly a balanced reply.
I asked you why you were using a pejorative to describe Suella Braverman because it was unbalanced. You appear to be indicating you were not being literal, but using exaggeration. On balance, considering you have been asked by three posters why Suella Braverman is a loony and have been refusing to answer a simple question, your posts are uneven (unbalanced).
Loony right is a saying, much like loony left, it doesn’t mean the individual is mentally disturbed, to suggest it does is taking things literally.
So, as loony does mean mentally ill, what is your balanced specific reasoning for labelling Suella Braverman loony?
I have explained, if you don’t understand there’s no point just keep going round and round. edit I will try one more time. I’m not suggesting the individual is mentally disturbed, more that her views are that of the “loony right”
He didn’t have me “on toast”, I wasn’t prepared on what Is a football forum where I come predominantly to talk football, to go into a full political debate. I neither had the time nor the inclination.
This type of thing REALLY boils my piss. Horrific moment Nigel Farage is pelted with objects by attacker https://mol.im/a/13517395 I don’t have much time for Farage and his politics, but FFS argue and debate with him to expose him, not throw stuff. As soon as you resort to throwing things then you’ve immediately lost the argument - and Farage will gain popularity from this incident - as any politician would.
Spot on, this kind of nonsense undermines our democracy. I might not like his politics, but he’s entitled to his views just as much as anyone else and he’s entitled to state them. Angela Rayner and Penny Maundant shook hands after the BBC debate, that’s how politics should work.
No you have not. You have not been specific. You cannot highlight one action by the politician that is loony, or one even one comment that is your loony. Your a loony. Why because your views are that of the loony, and I do not need to articulate why using your balance, or be be specific. Your a loony.
