Losing Douglas Luiz can’t be good for them, he’s been class. I know very little about Iling Jr but I don’t particularly rate McKennie. I can’t see their fans being overjoyed by that deal if it happens.
I think McKennie’s decent despite his shambolic loan at Leeds the other year. Iling Jr’s meant to be a decent prospect. Agree though, Luiz will be a big loss for them if it does happen.
McKennie is decent but seems to be a bit of a sicknote. Always injured or half fit. Illing Jr is like you say a good prospect but just that for now. Depends how much cash they’re getting, Luiz has been good for Villa.
Guess it helps them with PSR, they’ll get £20million plus the two players will help bump up Douglas Luiz value etc.
McKennie always looks out of shape to me. As out of shape as a modern day footballer can be, anyway. Barring Ndombele, of course.
I recall that he has been guilty of eating a load of American **** food in the past. You can eat that ****, but not live on it as an athlete.
Just realised that paying off Ndombele's contract makes it the second time Levy has had to see a vlub record signing leave for nothing, as one of the earliest decisions he had to make was cancelling Serhiy Rebfov's contract
There’s rumours that Boro are trying to sign Will Lankshear. Some suggesting loan, some suggesting not to rule out a sale.
Be a bit disappointing if the club sell him. Scored a lot of goals last season. Loan would be my preference.
