Anyway we should all be hopefully lifting a glass tonight to celebrate the search finally being over wether we’re happy with who it is or not!
Perhaps you might want to try looking at how you come across, just a thought. You appear to keep putting yourself forward as a bit of a football expert and able to see what others can't ... ... then rowing with anyone who gets bored with your relentless hair-splitting. You claimed I don't know about football but not everyone wants to spend time discussing hypothetical scenarios on which arguments are built. You seem to be an expert on every potential new manager but I suspect it's more through Googling than a true knowledge of European clubs. You seem a bit wound up if you don't mind me saying.
Seems that way. These things are often politely passed off as 'Mutual consent, we'd like to thank, etc.' This was ,'Sacked because his football, particularly at home, was too boring'. The owner may well be crackers but he did bring in lots of good attacking players ... ... Rosenior stuck to exactly how he'd played before and boasted about it.
Their owner explained thus, 'Attacking, entertaining' He followed that by keeping the Tigers in the hunt for a top-six finish until the final day of the 2023-24 season, when defeat at Plymouth Argyle ended any chance of them making the play-offs. Asked to expand on how his ideas differed from those of Rosenior, Ilicali said: "I want offensive football. I want an attacking, entertaining team. I said it from the first minute I bought this club. "I said I would rather lose 3-2 than have a boring 0-0. If you are counting the points and draw every game 0-0 you are going to get relegated. If you lose 3-2, it means you will win another game 4-1. "My football brain is completely full of a successful and entertaining football style. Liam has a great philosophy but there are different styles of football in the world - Liam's direction can be successful but we want to see different things. "It is not good for me to go to a coach and ask him to play a different way when he has a certain style of football." I agree with the owner. Realistically I'd rather watch a team play great football, and lose in the play-offs as we did at Luton ... ... than grind out results, like Luton, only to go up and be battered.
Recruitment done by the person who is then sacked? Then a new DoF comes in and has to work with a coach they didn't select and players they didn't select, have to work on implementing their style of play with people they might not see fit to implement that style, be handed new players on long contracts which they might think are **** and want gone straight away. Is that not even more disruptive? For me you either had to remove him last month or you give him the season.
I am hoping its Rosenior but would be happy with Cifuentes. I think the players would love working under Rosenior and I think Rigg signs a new deal.
Agree with this. They drew loads of games both of Roseniors seasons too, 3rd most last season and the season before. They went through a stage last season where they seemed to be drawing every week, must’ve been about 5 on the bounce.
It might be laughable to you. Plenty of other people like how I come across whether they agree with me or not. I'll discuss things with anyone, argue with those who want an argument and fire back at anyone who has a pop. If someone is on just for a wind up I'll call them out and tell them to f*ck off ... ... if you don't like it 'ignore' is your only option, I won't be changing.
