Think their stadium is good tbh.. they built it steep so will be fans right on top of the players and they're a vile bunch. Remains to been seen what our owners do but it'll take a billion and many many years to better Evertons.
More than all that money your lot spunked. Don’t remember seeing Everton in CL……. In fact I can’t remember Everton ever playing CL now I think about it.
I suppose the flip side to this if we want to be fair is that they have never been relegated from top flight football.
They've also won 9 league titles and more cups than Newcastle. I keep saying it on here that Everton are bigger club. Newcastle come next but the gaps big in terms of major trophies.. villa and Everton are way ahead of us. No shame in it.... Newcastle did Well until 1969 but have done absolutely nothing ever since and other clubs kept winning things.
It doesn't bother me saying it mate I simply don't care if they are. The opportunity is here for Newcastle to start winning things again. Newcastle have a better football team now.
If they were instrumental in the financing of the stadium... the stadium financing was apparently the whole reason you failed FFP... then maybe they might not be as bright as they are cracked up to be. Regardless - more positive than 777 disappearing in smoke, certainly.
the fans were never involved in the spending. It would be like munse being blamed for signing Newcastle flops. poor ownership and planning caused the mess.
