I definitely think it's right, given the amount of loyalty that they expect to inspire, that professional football clubs offer something deeper and more meaningful than simply having their home ground situated in a particular location. That isn't enough, especially when the teams contain so few local players. There has to be more to it. This is why clubs like St. Pauli and, comparative to their size, Dulwich Hamlet are so popular across the world.
Some people do nothing but insult KLD and the club ... ... then wonder why the club don't want to engage with them. They're lucky the club don't sue them for 'being pathetic', surely that would stick
