Exactly another of Howes connections... that'll be 2 highly unexciting signings across the line ... lewin seems likely and that basically leaves rw.

    Guess here please.

Pope was £10m and raised a few eyebrows as we're supposed to be the richest club in the world, that worked out fine.

Trafford would be disappointing, especially after links to Mamardashvili, but if we're believing the journos then it's the clubs choice. Howe's preference is said to have been Mamar but the owners feel he's too expensive based on what we have available and how much we need to strengthen elsewhere. They have decided to move for cheaper.

Trafford Kelly lewin and who's the right winger.? It's slowly starting to get worse and worse in terms of signings....please be nico Williams or someone at least remotely exciting.

I genuinely get the impression that Newcastle are now going to struggle to kick on. It might explain the lights display... simply doing what they can to distract away from a dull window..trying to keep the morale up... they do what they can and more

Especially when we let Woodman go who had better games in the lower league than Trafford. Trafford has one good season at Bolton. Woodman has at least 3 good seasons including in the championship

Excitement levels are diminishing slowly but surely and that was a key component in the early success. It just needs a little more ummffff this summer, but the money doesn't appear to be there to do it.

I’m hoping it is there but we’re playing as if we don’t have much so we don’t end up like Manchester Red

    Mbuemo.

Williams is on the left. I’d prefer Raphinha. Olise is the top end.

Mbeumo is a decent player going on stats. Haven't really watched much of Brentford though, other than when we play against them. Anyway, he wouldn't be cheap.
