You can move on but you never posted any evidence at all to back up your initial point despite my request for you to do so. Your so called evidence is simply rumour, innuendo and gossip none of which individually or collectively amounts to evidence. You will also note that I never mentioned top players either. FYI I've stopped holding my breathe on Doctors advice. Have a nice day.
I'm blaming folders for this one.. I haven't even been being a **** I retired. I just gave my opinion on what looks to be the case. There's nothing I can do there's always at least one of my assailants after me whether I tow the line or not. Magpie has been unfortunate to fall into penfolds cauldron based soup that he inadvertently created... or maybe he did it on purpose I don't know.
I did you just chose to dismiss it all.. I will now refer you to my previous post and ask what evidence you have to the contrary. Perhaps you can change my mind on what looks likely?
Trafford for 16 mil ish would be a good deal i think, he is surely better than Dubravka if Pope gets injured and is young so has potential to maybe be as good as or better than Pope.
So who actually has a problem with us trading non top players. Everyone on here suggests we sell quite a few anyway. £40 M seems a bit fanciful for Minteh too. If he’s that good why go out to sign a RW
I never said anyone on here did ... I'm not so sure because we paid 30 million for a left back around his age.... to answer that it's ironically down to ffp ... he's 40 million pure profit... one of the finance nerds can explain all that though.
He cost us 6-7 M so it’s less than that but if we need to sell before the end of June as some suggest then we’re over a barrel and won’t get 40.
It's a big margin though and it frees up more than the difference. It's become the way clubs deal with Ffp unfortunately. It's yet another vile aspect behind the rules which everyone knows I'm against in their entirety. Longstaff is also another good option and Anderson too but they need home grown players so minteh just becomes more saleable.
A few clubs in the mud ... more evidence that the issues are real for numerous clubs. https://x.com/talkSPORT/status/1799452572912329134?t=n1eLRiIG2HRFlVoDJdzqRA&s=19
The thing is that we appeared to always have someone at the club taking players off the bottom shelf and someone off the top shelf. Now the situation with FFP means no more Brunos botmans Tonalis or isaks are possible meaning whoever it is demanding the dross is going to get all their picks. It looks like we'll be going full Howe.... it may offer a surprise somewhere though hopefully.
Lasers drones talk of winning the league and struggling to sign James Trafford 3 years later. It's becoming a bit strange...long term we need a manager that has connections outside Burnley and Bournemouth I think.
