We're getting opened up far too easily by a very average team.

Doesn't bode well for when we play against quality.

Gordon, Palmer, Eze, that should keep Foden central, don't worry Southgate has it covered.

That’s good enough for a contract extension for Southgate !!

I’d give Foden 2 out of 10 for that performance.

    Highlights

Gordon looks good til his final ball

Palmer has that final ball in his locker, but needs to find it more often, should have got an assist when Kane missed his chance

We have our saviour to come in

    Errmm struggling now

    Lowlights

Foden - I'm putting it down to he didnt fancy getting hurt

Lack of creativity across the park

    Defence looks dodgy

I'm sure with the competitive edge, we'll be much better, but we need to play with much more pace and creativity.. not panicking but I do wish we had someone different like Grealish to come on in such games.

Really was like a City game that. Usually I find England satisfying with how clinical we are in front of goal but today the quality in the penalty box was appalling. Kane shinned one, Palmer ran out of time on two occasions when clean through, Mainoo at the end spannered one miles wide with the goal unguarded (I know there was an offside anyway), Foden's final pass was poor a few times, Gordon got into good positions but showed no end product. I'm sure we won't be that wasteful in the tournament; if we are we've got no chance.

    Didn't watch it.

Remember pre euro 96 when we scraped past a Hong Kong XI with Ian Hesford in goal.

    Wouldn't read much into it.
